Mind the Gap: how do landlords know fall protection works?
Housing associations already have safety duties. Fiona calls for clear, enforceable minimum requirements for inspecting fall-prevention components and keeping evidence that residents’ protection remains effective.
An Update on the Investigation into Joshua’s Death
Following her latest meeting with the Metropolitan Police, Fiona shares a brief update on the ongoing investigation into Joshua’s death, with thanks to DI Paterson, the officers working on the case and the family’s wonderful Family Liaison Officer, Tina.

Holborn and St Pancras: the good, the bad and the ugly of campaigning for No More Falls

I met Patrick Stillman when in Holborn. We both understand why housing safety matters. He also gets credit for reading all 200 pages of the Joshua Test!
He may not be the favourite, but he’s one of No More Falls’ favourites.
Good luck, Patrick Stillman, Liberal Democrats! 💛
I look forward to working with you going forward.

During a recent visit to Holborn and St Pancras, Fiona held positive and productive meetings with Zack Polanski, Leader of the Green Party; Patrick Stillman, Liberal Democrat; and Ewan Cameron, Conservative, about The Joshua Test and the constituency by-election. Fiona also met Kate Henderson, Chief Executive of the National Housing Federation, to discuss its current building-safety work with the Building Safety Regulator and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. They agreed to continue working together. The campaign has since accepted an invitation to meet Minister of State for Housing and Planning Matthew Pennycook MP and Baroness Blake in the coming weeks. These are significant steps forward for a small, family-led campaign—for everyone living at height and, always, for Joshua.

In loving memory
For Joshua
Of course, while I was in Holborn, I returned to the place where my son fell to his death. I laid flowers, a No More Falls ribbon and a simple promise: I will keep fighting for him—and for others—to make this right. This campaign began with Joshua, and every step forward is for him.
