An Update on the Investigation into Joshua’s Death

On Monday 26 October, I attended my latest meeting with the Metropolitan Police regarding the ongoing investigation into the death of my son, Joshua.

I know many of you have been following Joshua’s story, supporting our family and standing alongside me in our fight for answers, justice and accountability. I wanted to share a brief update, while respecting the confidentiality and integrity of the criminal investigation.

The investigation remains ongoing, with further enquiries and specialist assessments being undertaken.

I remain grateful to DI Paterson and the officers working on Joshua’s case. I recognise the importance of allowing them the time and independence to follow the evidence wherever it leads.

I also want to say a very special thank you to our wonderful Family Liaison Officer, Tina. Having someone who understands not only the complexities of a criminal investigation but also the human beings and heartbreak behind it makes an enormous difference.

Tina has shown us kindness, compassion and professionalism throughout an unimaginably difficult time. Her support, patience and humanity mean more to our family than words can adequately express.

Family Liaison Officers do an extraordinary job, often quietly and behind the scenes, and I am incredibly grateful that we have Tina walking alongside us through this process.

To everyone who continues to message, share our campaign, offer encouragement or simply remember Joshua, thank you. Your support means more than you could possibly know.
